Consultations.

All patients undergo an initial foot health assessment which includes vascular and neurological assessment. This is especially important for people with diabetes, vascular disease and rheumatoid arthritis whom may be more at risk of foot complications.

A 30 minute consultation costs £20. Introductory offers may apply.

Treatments.

Assessment, treatment and advice for a range of foot and lower limb related conditions, including:
  • Skin conditions: Removal of corns and callus (hard skin), treatment of verrucae, athlete’s foot and cracked skin on heels (fissures) and management of foot ulceration.
  • Nail conditions: Includes treatment of in-growing toenails, fungal infected toenails, thickened toenails and simple nail cuts.
  • Bony deformity: Management of painful bunions, hammer toes.
  • Biomechanics: Treatment of heel pain, flat feet (pes planus), metatarsalgia ( pain under ‘balls’ of feet), knee pain. A biomechanical assessment includes a weightbearing and non-weightbearing assessment of the lower limbs (waist down). Any malalignments found can often be treated with exercises, strapping and insole devices to correct foot position.
