Duncan Davis BSc Hons Osteopathy

Duncan trained as an Osteopath at Oxford Brookes University and is registered with the General Osteopathic Council and a member of the British Osteopathic Association.

Duncan’s passion for Osteopathy developed whilst working as a Sports Massage Therapist. He completed his higher diploma in massage and manipulation therapy at the Midland School of Massage & Manipulation Therapy in 2003 and enrolled on the BSc (Hons) Osteopathy at Oxford Brookes immediately after.

During his training Duncan developed an interest for cranial osteopathy which is a very gentle and indirect treatment style and has had great success treating babies and adults alike. He also has a keen interest in treating both sporting and dancing injuries as well as patients of all ages with everyday aches and pains. He has also undertaken specialist training on workplace assessments and helping people achieve an ergonomic set up that eliminates back and shoulder pain for those sitting at a desk all day.

Outside of osteopathy Duncan works as a personal trainer and circuit class instructor and is a keen rugby player. Duncan is able to use is knowledge of osteopathy, massage, kettle-bells, body and free weight techniques and ergonomics to help his patients achieve optimal health and fitness.

Steve Green BSc Hons Osteopathy

Steve trained as an Osteopath at Oxford Brookes University and is registered with both the General Osteopathic Council and the British Osteopathic Association.

His interest in Osteopathy developed during an international slalom canoeing career, competing at World and European Championship and World Cup races, where he had osteopathic treatment both for injuries and to help maintain the physical mobility required to compete at this level.

With a keen interest in treating sporting injuries, he also enjoys treating patients of all ages with work, stress or age related musculoskeletal problems

Sandra Blampied BSc Hons Osteopathy

Sandra trained as an Osteopath at Oxford Brookes University and is registered with the General Osteopathic Council and a member of the British Osteopathic Association.

Sandra has previously completed a BSc(Hons) in Equine Science at Hartpury College during which time she developed an interest in the injury and rehabilitation of the equine athlete. On completing her degree she gained a position working within the College’s well renowned Equine Therapy Centre. It was whilst working at the centre that her interest in Osteopathy developed, initially in its use as a treatment with horses but growing into a keen interest on how it can help riders as well. Combining her knowledge of both the equine and human body Sandra offers a unique service to riders, by helping riders function better this automatically improves the horses way of going.

As well as treating athletes, in particular horse riders, Sandra also enjoys helping a wide range of patients but in particular those with long term conditions such as arthritis or chronic fatigue.

Away from osteopathy Sandra has previously ridden and competed to Elementary/Medium level dressage with her own horse. She also enjoys mountain biking. She competed in the first women’s only mountain biking race “Stilettos on Wheels” in September 2012 gaining a respectable 12th place against some stiff competition including the Swedish National Champion!

Gemma McGhee

Gemma is a Graduate Sports Therapist having completed a Bachelor of Science Honours degree in Sports Therapy from the University of Worcester.

Gemma has gained her experience from:
  • Pitch side treatment for Kings Norton Rugby Football Club, Studley Sporting Football Club and Black Horse Football Club.
  • Post-massage at the London Marathon.
  • Clinical environment within the student led University Massage and Injury Clinic, looking at a variety of sporting and non-sporting injuries.
  • Private one-to-one sessions as a Mobile Sports Therapist.
She works for several different sports club as a Sports Therapist including:
  • Head Sports Therapist at Kings Norton Rugby Football Club.
  • Head Sports Therapist at Black Horse Football Club.
